Today sees the launch of homeforxmas.org by BBH London. A Christmas initiative aimed at raising money for children’s charity Barnardo’s, helping fund their work with homeless young people.
The festive project, which runs for the next five days, invites the audience to donate as much as they can to Barnardo’s. In return, and as a show of appreciation, BBH will select an entrant’s home address each day and recreate their home in a snow globe using the latest 3D printing technology. This beautiful bespoke snow globe, complete with personalised engraving, will then be wrapped and boxed before finally being sent to the selected recipient.

Christmas is a time for being at home with families and friends, so there’s no better time to be delivering this project. Hopefully, it can raise lots (and lots) of money for Barnardo’s and make a difference to the 75,000 young people who are at risk of living on Britain’s streets.

A great deal of hard work and effort went into making this happen so a big festive thanks to all the contributors and partners involved: The Mill, who, amongst other things, helped with the animation of the snow globes. Addictive Pixel for their super design work. Hobs for remodelling and 3D printing entrants’ homes, that go in the beeg porno snow globes. And not forgetting BBH’s Black Sheep Music for all their hard work sourcing music. A huge thanks also to Lindsay Gormley and Kate Sloan at Barnardo’s for giving us their support and guidance on this project.
To be part of BBH’s ‘Home for Christmas’ project, simply click here. It runs from Monday 17th December to Midnight Friday 21st December. A winning entrant’s home is picked at random every day.
