3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is a film about a crime that is ignored.

At the centre of the story is the power of 3 billboards to force people’s attention back onto this crime, in the hope that one day justice will be served.

Speaking to members of Justice4Grenfell it became clear to us that 8 months on from the tragedy of the Grenfell Tower fire, the key issues are being downplayed or ignored.

“71 men, women and children lost their lives as a result of the fire.

And still no arrests.
And still 297 flammable clad towers.
And still hundreds of survivors without permanent homes.
And still no diverse Inquiry Panel.
And still there is no justice.”

The film cleaned up at the Golden Globes and is nominated for 9 Baftas and 7 Oscars. So these 3 billboards are here to hijack the attention being given to this film, to keep Justice for Grenfell in the national conscience, to make sure that the voices of those no longer with us are heard.

Justice4Grenfell call for change to a system that let 71 people die; this was avoidable – if only they had been listened to earlier.

You can add your voice; retweet, share, talk.

As Mildred Hayes says in the film, “The more you keep a case in the public eye, the better your chances are at getting it solved.”
